Gochujang Ground Meat with Peas
Ingredients
- Ground meat (beef, turkey)
- Frozen peas (peas & carrots work, so do other small frozen veggies)
- Salt
- Gochujang paste/sauce
- Sesame oil
Order of Operations
- Bring pan to high heat (450f)
- Add 1/2lb of ground meat and spread it flat around
- Add sprinkle of salt to top, let it sit & sear for about 2 minutes
- After that 2 minutes, scrape the meat up and flip it over, then either use spatula or potato masher to break it up into small meat pebbles
- After breaking up, add 1-2 tablespoons of gochujang to meat and mix it together
- Add a serving of the frozen peas (veggies) directly into the beef & pan and let the heat thaw them as the meat continues to cook
- Drizzle some sesame oil on the mixture and move to separate container when cooked
Serve by mixing with rice.
