Gochujang Ground Meat with Peas

Ingredients

  • Ground meat (beef, turkey)
  • Frozen peas (peas & carrots work, so do other small frozen veggies)
  • Salt
  • Gochujang paste/sauce
  • Sesame oil

Order of Operations

  1. Bring pan to high heat (450f)
  2. Add 1/2lb of ground meat and spread it flat around
  3. Add sprinkle of salt to top, let it sit & sear for about 2 minutes
  4. After that 2 minutes, scrape the meat up and flip it over, then either use spatula or potato masher to break it up into small meat pebbles
  5. After breaking up, add 1-2 tablespoons of gochujang to meat and mix it together
  6. Add a serving of the frozen peas (veggies) directly into the beef & pan and let the heat thaw them as the meat continues to cook
  7. Drizzle some sesame oil on the mixture and move to separate container when cooked

Serve by mixing with rice.
