Chicken Hummus Wrap

Ingredients

  • Chicken (but other meats work too)
  • Cherry/grape tomatoes
  • Red onion
  • Lettuce
  • Burrito wrap or lavash bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour cream
  • Zaatar spice
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Lemon
  • Hummus

Order of Operations

  1. Prepare the chicken/meat by salting it and letting it sit in the fridge for ~30 minutes to an hour. If using chicken breast, butterfly it first before salting
  2. Add chicken/meat to pan and let it sear
  3. Once cooked, set aside
  4. Prepare vegetables
  5. Slice/dice cherry/grape tomatoes
  6. Dice the red onion
  7. Shred lettuce
  8. Slice the cooled meat into long and thin strips
  9. Make Zaatar White Sauce:
    1. Add roughly a teaspoon of mayo
    2. Add roughly a teaspoon of sour cream
    3. Add a sprinkle of Zaatar spice
    4. Add a sprinkle of Red pepper flakes
    5. Add a squeeze of lemon juice
  10. Take whatever "container" (wrap or lavash bread) and spread hummus on half
  11. Add the meat on top of the hummus, then the veggies on top of the meat
  12. Drizzle the white sauce on it
  13. Wrap
